GIVE TO WOMEN'S GOLF
The Women's Golf Annual Operating Fund covers a large variety of expenses specific to the Women's Golf program such as, recruiting costs, nutrition expenses, academic support, equipment, and travel.
Message From Head Coach, David Sutherland
A question I am often asked when people make donations to the Women's Golf program is, "What do we use these funds for?" And the simple answer is, "Lots of things!" This year our main priorities for fundraising for our team are:
- Trackman. This piece of technology would be used before and after rounds and allows the girls to track their ball flight, place of impact, swing speed and more.
- Necessary equipment, such as golf clubs, rangefinders, teaching aids, and push carts
- Travel. Our program has been consistently one of the best 50 golf programs in the country over many years. With this, it does require us to play a national schedule. We use these funds to help us compete against the best programs in Division 1 Athletics.
Why are donations necessary?
Our yearly campaign goal is not only to raise outside support for our Women's Golf Operating Fund, but also to engage and involve the extended Hornet Women's Golf family!
