GIVE TO MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Men's Basketball Annual Operating Fund covers a large variety of expenses specific to the program such as, recruiting costs, nutrition expenses, academic support, equipment, and travel.
Your support to our program will go to help fund the following:
- Summer School Scholarships: When a student-athlete receives a scholarship, summer school is not included. The ability to offer them the opportunity to take classes and train on campus is vital to the growth of the program.
- Team Meals and Nutrition: Sac State’s resources to cover all meals and nutrition only go so far. We would like the ability to provide a healthy fueling station all year round.
- Software Upgrades: As the landscape of college basketball changes and technology improves in order to stay up to dare and on the cutting edge of film study and analytics, we need the support to upgrade our filming technology and our analytics software to help our team improve.
- Locker Room Enhancements: Being in our locker room all year round means that we deal with the extreme heat and cold. We would like to upgrade our locker room to allow us to put better heating and air in the facility. We would also like to upgrade our coaches’ lounge and players’ lounge to give our team a high-level Division 1 locker room.
Why are donations necessary?
Our yearly campaign goal is not only to raise outside support for our Men's Basketball Operating Fund, but also to engage and involve the extended Hornet Men's Basketball family!
